fall shopping list

I broke out a winter coat for the first time yesterday and although I’m not happy about the recent dropping temps, I couldn’t help but be a bit giddy to open up the coat closet and pick one out. Along with the change in season comes a little fall shopping list, and these are the things that are currently on mine. {See my other fall loves here and here}. What’s on your fall must-have list?

I’ve always been more of a dress girl than a jeans and tee shirt girl, but recently I’ve been splitting my time bouncing between the two. Much like my addiction to candy colored tights that came out of nowhere last year, I’m suddenly drawn to denim in every color but the usual. These fancy pants just beg to be shown off, just keep the top simple to contrast the party on your legs.

The summer months are officially over, and now it’s that awkward in-between-season time of year when everyone is tired of their summer clothes, but it’s not quite cold enough for a fall wardrobe. Regardless of the temperatures this month, I know that dark wide-leg denim, blouses, leopard, and sequins will all be making multiple appearances in this months outfit choices. Luckily these are 4 fall trends that I’ve loved for awhile, so I’ve slowly been adding these pieces to my closet over the past few months. Instead, I can focus my shopping attention on new boots of every height, denim in every color, and picking out the perfect fall purse.
