 Although I’m no packing expert, if there’s one thing I know to bring extras of it’s shoes. You never know where/what you’re going to end up doing while out of town – so I like to be prepared. I’m excited to be heading out to LA on Sunday for a few days – and while I’m sure I’ll (over) pack plenty of shoes, I always try to find a way to get in some shoe shopping while out of town. As a frequent shopper I’m constantly on the hunt for my next favorite pair . If you had to name your most favorite pair of shoes – what would it be?

High-heeled, sparkly, flat, suede, printed, wedge, laces…I want to know what your dream shoe would look like!

the weekend

I took full advantage the weekend – which included a couple bike rides, sushi, farmers market, and some shopping – which resulted in a couple great purchases but it’s these turquoise jeans I can’t stop thinking about. Will my love for colored denim ever end? It’s not looking likely. Thanks to all for your kind words/messages/tweets about The Zoe Report feature – it was a such a treat that is still making me smile.

small town charm

 While I’ve always been a city or beach girl, there’s an an irresistible charm that only a small town can have. I spent this past weekend in a small lake town and it’s hard not to love a place where everyone waves and says hello, you spend your days on the water boating and floating, and wearing swimsuits all day long is perfectly acceptable (and expected!) attire.
