The only way to describe Fashion’s Night Out in NYC is to imagine a mix between New Years Eve + Christmas + a Hollywood red carpet premiere + a fashion show. Possibly throw in a bit of Mardi Gras and Vegas. The streets everywhere are packed, every store has huge crowds, many have lines outside just to step in, celebrities are staked out in every store, and there are goodies and drinks being given away like candy. The options for the night were all too good, and almost too much to handle. Rachel Zoe was at Bloomingdales and Intermix. Sarah Jessica Parker was at the Manolo Blahnik store. Tory Burch was at her Meatpacking District store. It was complete chaos.
I spent my FNO enjoying a Rachel Zoe + Rodger + model Erin Wasson sighting at Bloomingdales (and moments before I stepped on the escalator at the exact same time as Rachel’s sister…I had to say hello). I was also stopped by The Daily and asked about my outfit, which was featured here. (And switched up slightly from my daytime outfit by changing out the hunter green trousers for sequin pants). From there, I made my way down the street with a patient guy friend of mine + Lynzy from Sparkling Footsteps, stopping by Prada, Louis Vuitton, Coach, and then to the Meatpacking District to check out Vince and Tory Burch. Until next year’s Christmas/Vegas/NYE/Mardi Gras…
