While recently working on a writing project, I had to head to a nearby city (ok…actually, suburb) that I rarely get to, and was thrilled to spot several thrift stores during my visit. This always gets me unreasonably excited, as I love to dig for hidden gems, and always feel lucky to spot a beautiful find in a sea of junk. (Oh my-my antique-loving dad will be so proud to read this). When I spotted this pearl-covered collar amidst a sea of old dowdy blouses, I felt like I won the lottery. And while I’ve been lusting for more than one Equipment blouse, this leopard print button up will tide me over just fine. Add in the Pucci-esque $2 scarf and I left the ‘burb one happy girl.
