It comes as no surprise that I have a weakness for all things sequin. Since spotting my first pair of sequin shorts awhile back, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair for myself. While in NYC last weekend, I had little free time to squeeze in much shopping, but I did make sure to swing through the Scoop Warehouse sale in the Meatpacking District to check out the goods. When I spotted these Gryphon sequin shorts, I knew they had to be mine. I am excited to wear these year round, as they will be just as great in the summer with bare legs and a simple black or white tee as they are with black tights. They are already my most loved item in my closet, but even more now as I was wearing them the day I met Brad.
As an avid sparkly wearer, these shorts encompassed all the qualities any great sequin garment should have-the sequins should be tightly sewed into place with none noticeably missing, there should be no frayed thread anywhere, the sequins should lay flat and hang in mostly the same direction, and the sequins should be attached to a good quality and sturdy fabric.
