I started crushing on over the knee boots last year, but was slow to jump on the bandwagon. Most of the ones I saw online seemed a bit over the top-almost scary and intimidating-and totally unwearable for everyday real-girl life. Of the few pairs I did see and like, I figured I would only wear them a few times and be over them, so I refrained from buying. But then I spotted these black heeled ones at TJ Maxx just before heading to NYC last month and I just couldn’t resist…
And then one of the wedding planners at the last reception I went to had these flat brown ones, and I was so in love with them I ran to Nordstroms the next day to get a pair of my own.
They both pair perfectly with tights, leggings, and jeggings, and as typical of many purchases-I am wondering how I went without for so long.
Do share fellow boot wearing friends…what is a trend you have loved but held out on wearing?
I’m totally LOVING those gorgeous…L.o.v.e!
love both pairs, Kiley! i have a gray Dolce Vita pair that I haven’t worn yet this season but I can’t wait!
I LOVE the first ones in black!! I wasn’t too sure about over the knee boots but now I really do love the look.
I bet you look super cute it both pairs :)
I’m not sure I could pull them off. I still can’t convince myself to buy a pair of jeggings … they just make my butt look enormous – I don’t know how everyone else does it!
Love these! I don’t have that are over the knee but I’ve seen some that I’ve liked recently.
I’ve always been hesitant to try ankle boots that hit just above the ankle so they’re not quite a bootie. I think they’re so cute on other girls, but I’m afraid they’ll make my legs look short. (It’s probably irrational since I’m 5’8.)
ooh, those brown ones are awesome!
I love the black heeled ones! It’s a trend that I’m still a little unsure of. Maybe if I lived in the city with more fellow fashion risk takers I would try them out!

I’ve held out on the OTK boots too, but I don’t know how much longer I can resist. Those brown ones are great!
